Beside exotic islands and tempting crystal clear sea, one of the most important parts of this area is city of Split, which was initially founded as summer mansion of Roman emperor Diocletian, which later on developed into vivid cultural and historical capital of the entire region. The town of Trogir is other fascinating city in this area. Often called a museum town due to its rich Romanesque, baroque and Renaissance monuments and architecture. Like Diocletian’s palace in Split, the historic city of Trogir is listed under UNESCO world heritage.

Sightseeing spots

Founded as ancient Greek colony, some say that Trogir is one of the most beautiful small towns in the world. Other beautiful city in the Central Dalmatian area is Split, a second largest city in Croatia. Enriched with history and beautiful sights- Split is all what is Dalmatia all about.
